I think this book is about software engineer. uml is the presentation. the concept is more about oo. i have a book "uml distill" which is recommanded by our lecturer. These two book seem to show the same concept.
I have read few pages, i think it is good book but donnot read the chinese version which always give you some confusion upon the ideas. use the english verison if possible. although it may be expensive but it is worthy. because the translators are usually not computer science major. even if they are, sometimes it is hard to find appropriated language for the same idea.
